01The four frames written for a woman first
The frames whose own name puts women first: the polarized cat-eye, the oversized square S904, the stainless-steel retro round and the 70s square pilot. Every shape is unisex in fact; these are the four cut and coloured for a woman.
Colourways on this page: Gold / grey, Gold / blue mirrored, Gold / pink mirrored, Silver / silver mirrored, Gold / brown, Gold / gold mirrored, Gold / black, Black / grey, and 12 more.
Every frame in the range is sold to anyone, and the split on this page is the brand’s own: these four are the ones GQUEEN names for women first, and the colourways say why. The cat-eye comes in gold with pink, blue, silver and gold mirrors; the S904 square in champagne and tortoise as well as black; the retro round in rose-gold pink; the 70s pilot in tortoise and clear brown. Those are not tints the metal pilot or the browline are offered in.
They also share a shape logic. The cat-eye and the S904 are oversized, covering brow and cheekbone, and the ophthalmologists like that for the same reason a wraparound is liked: less light arriving from the side. The retro round and the 70s pilot are the smaller two, and the 70s pilot is the one that comes as a two-pair box, black-and-grey with a tortoise-and-brown second pair, for the person who loses sunglasses. All four are UV400; three are polarized; the S904 is not, and says so.

02About these frames
The four frames written for a woman first
The cat-eye, the retro round and the 70s square pilot. The oversized square S904 is UV400 without a polarizing filter, which its card prints plainly, and it is the most reviewed of the four anyway.
The 70s square pilot or the S904 square: a straight brow line and a squared lens give a round face an edge it does not have. The cat-eye does the same job with a lift at the corner. The retro round repeats the face’s own shape, and suits a longer or narrower one better.
Yes: gold frame with a black lens, gold with grey, and gold with brown, alongside the four mirrors. The plain tints are the ones to pick for driving; the mirrors are the ones that photograph.
