01The tint you see is not the tint you see through
Every frame in the range that comes in a mirror finish: the metal pilot in blue and silver, the cat-eye in four mirrors, the retro round in rose-gold pink and the two-pair rectangle with a mirrored second pair.
Colourways on this page: Gold / grey, Gold / blue mirrored, Gold / pink mirrored, Silver / silver mirrored, Gold / brown, Gold / gold mirrored, Gold / black, Silver / blue mirrored, and 14 more.
A mirror coat is a thin reflective layer over an ordinary tinted lens, and the thing to know is that the colour on the outside is not the colour on the inside. A pink-mirror cat-eye looks pink to everyone else and brown-grey to you. Underneath every mirror in the GQUEEN range is a polarized base, so the filter is still doing its work; what the coat adds is a few percent less light getting through, and a face that photographs.
Four frames carry a mirror. The metal pilot MOS1 in blue mirror and silver mirror, which are the two most bought mirrors on the site. The cat-eye in pink, blue, silver and gold, which between them are the reason the cat-eye is the most reviewed frame we sell. The stainless-steel retro round in a rose-gold pink. And the two-pair rectangle, where the second pair in the box is a red or blue mirror over the same matte-black frame as the first.

02About these frames
The tint you see is not the tint you see through
Yes, every one on this page: the mirror is a coat over a polarized grey or brown base, not a substitute for it. The card carries both claims, polarized and UV400, and the mirror is listed as the colourway.
Not the colour of the mirror. A blue mirror over grey gives a neutral grey view; a pink or rose-gold mirror over brown gives a warm brown one. The mirror is what other people see.
A mirror coat is the outermost layer, so a scratch shows on it before it would on a plain tint, and a scratched mirror is more visible than a scratched grey. Every pair ships with a microfibre pouch and cloth, and the honest advice is to use them rather than a shirt tail.
