How we keep this catalogue current

What gets re-read, how often, and what happens to a frame that goes out of stock.

Prices

Every price on this site comes out of our own product data and is rewritten when it moves. The catalogue was last updated on October 9, 2026, and at that update it held 15 frames and 27 two-pair pairings in stock across 139 colourway and pairing combinations. Where a figure here and the figure at the till disagree, the till is the one that counts.

A frame we cannot currently buy does not appear at all. It is not hidden behind a “currently unavailable” label: it comes off the site at the next build and comes back by itself when it returns to stock, because the catalogue behind these pages keeps asking about it either way.

Millimetres, materials and lens claims

These come from the same product data and are rebuilt from it on every pass, so nobody types a lens width into a paragraph by hand. Where a frame gives its size only in inches we convert to millimetres; where it gives no size at all, the line is left blank rather than estimated. Polarized and UV400 are printed exactly as the data carries them, colourway by colourway, and a colourway sold without a polarizing filter is marked as such even when its siblings have one.

Pictures

Every photograph on this site is of the colourway being sold. Where a manufacturer frame carries a marketing banner printed into the image, we crop the banner off rather than caption around it, and a frame that argues with what is written beside it is pulled instead.

Claims about the eye

Anything on this site that touches ultraviolet light, glare, impact resistance or what a clear lens does and does not do is written under a published source rather than over one. The register below is the whole of it, and every entry was opened and read on September 1, 2026 before a link was put on it.

Corrections

If a number on this site argues with the one engraved inside the arm of the pair in your hand, write to lens@gqueen-us.com with the page and the figure. It gets fixed at the next update, and we say what changed. The rest of what GQUEEN will and will not print about itself is set out in the editorial standards.
