Terms of Use
These terms cover gqueen-us.com. Using the site means reading its figures, holding them against your own face, your own drive to work and the pair already on your desk, and following its links. They are written for that use and no other.
What this site is
This is the GQUEEN catalogue: polarized pilots, round and browline frames, oversized squares and cat-eyes, everyday polarized pairs, clear-lens frames worn for the look of them, and the two-pair bundles, with the lens width, the bridge, the temple length and the tint printed where you can read them before you decide. It is a reference, not a checkout. Our retail partner takes the payment, ships the parcel and handles any return, and the contract of sale is formed there, on their terms.
Figures and photographs
Millimetres, materials, tints and prices come from our own product data. Prices move; the figure at the till is the one that counts, and where the two disagree the till wins. Photographs show the colourway being sold rather than a styled substitute, and a frame that argues with its caption is pulled rather than captioned around.
What a lens claim means
UV400 on a card means the lens carries a UV400 rating, which covers the whole of UVA and UVB. Polarized means a filter in the lens cuts glare bounced off water, road and snow; it says nothing about UV on its own, and every polarized pair here carries the UV rating separately. Neither word is a promise about your eyes, your driving or a particular medical condition, and none of these frames is a substitute for a lens an optician has prescribed.
Fit
The three numbers printed inside a temple arm, lens width, bridge and temple length, are the ones on our cards. They describe the frame, not a face: a 62-millimetre pilot sits large on a narrow face and a 52-millimetre round sits small on a broad one, and the guide to reading them is written for the person who has never measured a pair before.
